LASER SETTINGS PRO

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Laser Settings Pro operates this website and the online store where you complete your purchase, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the "Services"). The Services run on two platforms: this website, lasersettingspro.com, is built and hosted by Lovable, and presents the product; the store and checkout at shop.lasersettingspro.com run on Shopify. Both are operated by us and this Privacy Policy applies to both. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase using the Services, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing and disclosure of your personal information.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use and disclosure of your information as described here.

Personal information we collect

When we use the term "personal information", we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information collected anonymously or de-identified so that it cannot be reasonably linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the Services and where you live, we may collect or process:

  • Contact details including your name, billing address, email address and, where you provide it, your phone number.
  • Financial information including payment card details, financial account information, transaction details, form of payment and payment confirmation. Payment card numbers are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
  • Account information including your username, password, preferences and settings, where you create an account.
  • Transaction information including the items you view, add to your cart, purchase or cancel, and your past transactions.
  • Communications with us including anything you include when you contact customer support.
  • Device information including your device, browser, network connection, IP address and other unique identifiers.
  • Usage information including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.

Where this information comes from

  • Directly from you, when you make a purchase, contact us, or otherwise provide your information.
  • Automatically through the Services, from your device and through cookies and similar technologies.
  • From our service providers, when we engage them to enable certain technology or when they process information on our behalf.
  • From our partners or other third parties.

How we use your personal information

  • To provide and improve the Services. To perform our contract with you, process your payment, deliver your download, send notifications related to your order, manage your account where you have one, and improve how the Services work.
  • Marketing and advertising. To send marketing and promotional communications by email, and to show you online advertisements for our products, including based on your previous activity on the Services.
  • Security and fraud prevention. To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment experience, and detect, investigate or act on possible fraudulent, illegal or malicious activity. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Do not share your password with anyone.
  • Communicating with you. To provide customer support and to maintain our business relationship with you.
  • Legal reasons. To comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, and enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.

Cookies and advertising technologies

We use the Meta Pixel, a technology provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, on both parts of the Services. It records that you visited a page, viewed the product, began a checkout or completed a purchase, together with your IP address, browser and device information, and an identifier stored in your browser. We use this to measure how our advertising performs and to show ads to people who have visited our site.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the Meta Pixel is not loaded until you accept it in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Our legal basis for this processing is your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of this website, after which no further data is sent. If you decline, the Services work exactly the same and nothing is restricted.

Outside the EEA and the UK, the Meta Pixel loads when you open the page, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Meta account settings or your device's advertising controls.

Information collected in this way is shared with Meta, which processes it as described in its own privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy. Depending on the processing concerned, Meta acts either as an independent controller or as a joint controller with us.

When you open this website we also read the current price of our product from our Shopify store so that it is displayed in your local currency. This request does not transmit any personal information about you.

Beyond this, we use only the cookies that are strictly necessary for the store and checkout to function, such as remembering the contents of your cart. These do not require consent.

How we disclose personal information

In certain circumstances we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes, including:

  • With Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, where you have consented to advertising cookies or where consent is not required in your country, for advertising measurement and for building audiences for our ads.
  • With Shopify, and with vendors and other third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage and file delivery.
  • With business and marketing partners, to provide marketing services and advertise to you. We use Shopify to support personalised advertising with third-party services based on your online activity across different merchants and websites. These partners use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to tell us not to share information about you for that purpose.
  • When you direct, request or otherwise consent to disclosure to a third party.
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with applicable legal obligations, to enforce our terms and policies, and to protect or defend our rights and the rights of our users.

Our platform providers

This website is built and hosted by Lovable, which processes technical data necessary to serve the pages to you, such as your IP address and browser information, on our behalf. Lovable does not use this data for its own purposes.

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, and with third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside. We also use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data from your interactions with our store, with other merchants and with Shopify. In these circumstances Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to requests to exercise your rights over that processing. To learn more you can read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/app-users and, depending on where you live, exercise certain rights at https://privacy.shopify.com/en.

Third party websites and links

The Services may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties. If you follow a link to a site we do not control, you should review its privacy and security policies and its terms. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, or for the accuracy or reliability of information found there. Including a link does not by itself imply endorsement.

Children's data

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, contact us using the details below to request that it be deleted. As of the date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Security and retention

No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee perfect security. Information you send us may not be secure while in transit, so please do not use unsecured channels to send us sensitive or confidential information. How long we keep your personal information depends on factors such as whether we need it to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and in some cases we may decline a request as permitted by law.

  • Right to access or know. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to delete. You may request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to portability. You may request a copy of your personal information and ask us to transfer it to a third party, in certain circumstances and with certain exceptions.
  • Managing communication preferences. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages about your order.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you also have the following rights, subject to the exceptions and limitations provided by local law:

  • Objection to processing and restriction of processing. You may ask us to stop or restrict processing of your personal information for certain purposes.
  • Withdrawal of consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@lasersettingspro.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, as permitted or required by law. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require proof that you have authorised them.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we process your personal information, please contact us atsupport@lasersettingspro.com first. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our decision, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For the EEA, a list of the responsible supervisory authorities is available at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members.

International transfers

We may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in. If we transfer your personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent approved by the relevant UK authority, unless the transfer is to a country determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page, update the "Last updated" date, and provide notice where required by law.

For any question about our privacy practices or this Privacy Policy, or to exercise any of the rights available to you, email us at support@lasersettingspro.com. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Laser Settings Pro is the data controller of your personal information.
